The catalogue of the companies in the domain of agriculture and alimentary industry in Dolj county and Vidin region was realized within the project "Romanian – Bulgarian Network for Rural Economy and Tourism Development" through the Program PHARE CBC 2003 – Common Fund for Small Projects RO2003/005.701.06 – BG2003/005.631.05.

This work is the result of the research by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry “OLTENIA” in cooperation with the Office of Agricultural Consultancy regarding the agricultural associations, companies in the rural environment and individual agricultural producers in Dolj county and the materials regarding the agriculture of Vidin region, sent by the Bulgarian partners: The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vidin and the Regional Centre of Agricultural Business Vidin.
The Chamber "OLTENIA" has as purpose, through this work, to put at the disposal of the interested institutions, Romanian and Bulgarian business persons information about the agricultural potential of the two regions in view of the intensification of commercial exchange and cross border cooperation.
We hope that we have achieved a useful instrument for the identification of the business opportunities and the development of agriculture in the two regions in Romania and Bulgaria in the context of the integration of the two countries in the European Union.
