The statement of the famous ancient philosopher which defined the small opportunities as being often the beginnings of the great business was and remaines present.
    Among the national demands of the two neighbour and friend countries, Romania and Bulgaria, there are important objectives regarding the accomplishment of the cross-border co-operation, which especially aims, at the business sphere, the economic and social development.
    Starting from the famous reflection, Chamber of Commerce and Industry „OLTENIA” in co-operation with similar institutions from Montana, Vidin, Vratsa, Mehedinşi and Olt, wanted to achive a project which presents a series of opportunities meant to develop deep economic springs in the cross-border The Danube 21 Euroregion.
     The approach, as it was defined in the project "THE MULTIFUNCTIONAL CENTER FOR CROSS-BORDER CO-OPERATION AND BUSINESS REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT ROMANIA - BULGARIA" is meant to impel the business comunities on the banks of the Danube, causing the speeding of the adhering proces to the European Community of this two countries.
    We consider that, in this way, we are responding to the objectives established by the European Commission, regarding the promotion of the economical and social progres, the creation of an open and competitive market, the tehnological changes and inovations, which require the achivement of a new step of the economic and social environment.
    The work "Regional business opportunities from Romania and Bulgaria" represent, in our opinion the small opportunities that will initiate the future great business.
